Former Minister Ramesh Chandra Sen, a presidium member of Bangladesh Awami League and Member of Parliament for Thakurgaon-1 constituency, said the work being done by the present Awami League government in the country is being considered as a role model all over the world. Bangladesh is moving forward. But not sitting in a mahal, they are conspiring against the government. Therefore, he urged the leaders and workers of the party and the people to be vocal against the conspiracy.
He was speaking as the chief guest at the introductory meeting of the newly-elected committee of the Thakurgaon Municipal Awami League on Tuesday afternoon.
Parliamentarian Ramesh Chandra Sen said, “No matter what the conspiracy is, we will continue this trend of development by tackling all conspiracies.” We need this government to continue the trend of development. Therefore, we want to see Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina as the Prime Minister again in the next 2023 parliamentary elections. For this, everyone has to work in unison.
He said when the BNP was in power, they looted money in the name of the development of the country and also smuggled it abroad. They turned the country into a fragile state. But since the Awami League came to power, there has been massive development work in the country, which cannot be counted on. The people are also enjoying the benefits of these developments. Therefore Awami League is the government of the people, Awami League really changes the face of the country.
